National Zoo & Aquarium

National Zoo & Aquarium

The National Zoo & Aquarium is a private collection of animals located at 999 Lady Denman Dr, Yarralumla ACT 2611. This is the only zoo in the country to combine an aquarium and a zoo. A visit to this attraction will leave you feeling awed and entertained. Regardless of age, visitors will find the animals to be fascinating and a great way to spend a day.

While the zoo is home to a number of Australian animals, this attraction is particularly noteworthy for its underwater component. The aquarium isn’t large, but it offers an incredible collection of typical Australian marine life. You can view Great Barrier Reef coral and frogs and reptiles that are native to Australia. There is also a shark exhibit and donut-shaped residence for the staff.

The zoo is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM, and admission is free. The zoo is a non-smoking establishment. The zoo’s staff will answer any questions you might have and are there to help you plan your perfect holiday. Make sure to check out the National Zoo & Aquarium Yarralumla ACT on TravelTriangle to find out more about this attraction.
