Lyons is a suburb in the district of Woden in Canberra, Australia. The suburb has a postcode of 2606. Lyons is named after Joseph Lyons, who was the Labor Premier of Tasmania from 1923 to 1928. He then went on to serve as Minister in the James Scullin government from 1929 to March 1931. After he became PM, Lyons served as Australia’s tenth Prime Minister from January 1932 until his death in 1939.

This quiet suburban city is home to a low crime rate. Although it is close to the centre of town, it still retains a desert-like atmosphere. This suburb is dotted with native plants and pine trees, which give it a desert-like ambience. Several neighbourhoods offer breathtaking views of Mount Taylor, Red Hill, and Oakey Hill.
